Beautiful but deadly
Here in Geelong we're over 100 km from the bushfires that ravaged Victoria on Firestorm Saturday and continue to burn. But we are getting drifts of smoke to remind us and last night the setting sun was bright red through the smoke haze.
G'day Boobook, A beautiful reminder of an ugly event. We're lucky here in Gippsland this time, with a steady easterly blowing for several days now, we haven't had smoke very much at all. Regards, Gouldiae

Nicely expressed, Bushranger.
Victoria is not yet over the fires, as you acknowledge.
Cheers
