Point Impossible sand dune vegetation

I wrote about Point Impossible, near Torquay on Victoria's coast several years ago, but I was back there again today looking for more sand dune vegetation.

My first impression, from the carpark, was that spring had not yet sprung but I was wrong. The dunes were looking pretty good because quite a few plants are flowering or in bud, and the estuary and the ocean looked splendid on a sunny and warm winter day.
