On show

In the early morning light the sundews near the 100 Mile Swamp at Undara Lava Tubes were spectacular. I wish now that I'd stayed a little longer to study the insects caught in the sticky globules. I didn't think of it at the time, but they show up as blurred images in some of my photos.

I see from your label Drosera that these are apparently some kind of Sundew (or an equivalent plant). Very impressive.
They seem to be a dominant plant in the local habitat.
Very interesting.

Wow look at them all. It would be a brave insect that tries to navigate through that lot. Great pics!

An impressive sight indeed. This is one Drosera I have not seen, and as I am always on the lookout for the fascinating sundews, I hope to see this one at some stage.

Interesting.

The plant is actually Byblis linifolia, a different genus of sundews.
