Kulliparu Conservation Park

Today we left the Eyre Highway, for a day or two, and drove to Streaky Bay. I made the mistake of mentioning to Phil that there was a Powerhouse Museum at Streaky Bay that has one of the best display of working engines in Australia so we're here for two nights so he can check it out. Fortunately it also gives us the chance to see the colony of Sea Lions and the rugged coast here.

On the way we stopped for an extended lunch break at the Kulliparu Conservation Park near Port Kenny. I was a bit surprised to see so many shrubs and mallee trees flowering. (As usual when I'm on holiday I haven't had time to identify the plants in the photos below.)
