All of the islands in the area were harvested for the guano. They are now protected. Rock Parrots nest on this island off Eagle Point.

At last I've found the comment box, but only when I click on the blog heading and go to it separately. It doesn't show up when I read your posts from the link to the blog that comes by to me by email, which is the way I normally do it. Hamelin Pool looks idyllic.That emu blends in well. One of these days we will get to Monkey Mia but it probably won't be by car from Melbourne.

Hi Jo. It's really annoying that the comment box doesn't show up from the email link. You'd think it would be the same. I'll have to go on the forum and see what others have discussed about it.
